Just like you, we’ve been looking for photos – pictures to use to add video to musical numbers or illustrate sermon points or provide background for song lyrics – so the message of Jesus will be better understood. And, just like you, we didn’t find much.

Oh, there are plenty of pictures of stained glass windows and statues and drawings and sketches

But it is very difficult to find photos of Jesus healing a lame man, or feeding the 5000, or His trials or any other part of His life and ministry.

So we arranged to photograph a Passion Play. This provided many pictures for our use.

But… if we were looking for these images and could not find them maybe others couldn't find them either.

ChristianPhotos.org makes these photographs available to you. We obtained releases from the producer and have edited and provided keyword search capabilities as well.

This collection will continue to grow as we offer other subjects useful to churches and similar organizations. Many are looking for backgrounds for lyrics or nature scenes or scenes from by-gone eras. We will be adding groups of pictures to illustrate popular songs and hymns as well as illustrations for scripture passages.
